I don't know if you want to do this but I used fiberglass cloth and gel on my '99 shroud.  It's much stronger than the plastic.  I painted it with white spray paint.

Whilst scrubbing the roof of my 2004 Safari, I see the AC shroud is
giving up the ghost... cheap construction and UV don't go together.
Where do I buy a replacement, before the flying shrapnel dents a Ferrari?
