I have known of some repair people replacing the A/C pan with a pan without
a drain hole. This allows the condensate to drain over the top of the
Airstream and lets gravity help the water find its best way to the earth. A
friend of mine that had his Airstream parked "permanently", found too late
that the water had flowed toward the back along the awning rail, down the
side of the trailer and into a side compartment. The water rotted a large
hole in the floor of the compartment and under the bed before he discovered
it.
