See if there is something stuck in there, although it sounds like the
(probably) plastic gears may have stripped themselves. See if it will
turn without the heavy glass plate, mine took a nosedive and I replaced
it with a Corel Plate. I installed my microwave, and it's still going
strong after 8 years. I don't think being in an RV really affects its life.

Should be an easy switch, unless you have an odd connector on the ends
of the supply lines.
