Thanks! Will try it w/o any glass plate first, but I think it is on life support. There is evidence of trauma from the PO (stripped threads holding it into the cabinet) so it may have taken a few tumbles before, but I replaced those with longer screws right after I bought it last fall. Maybe it just wore out:-)
Glorious morning on the Mississippi, btw. Checkout time at the state parks in MO is 2pm so that can make you lazy!
