Re: [A/S] Trailer twist/ now solar and deadbolts

Well, I am sure there are many holes in my RV education yet to fill:-). I do want to get a second lock/deadbolt (keyed) installed, however. I had two in my Bambi and it was a nice modification. I am also looking for a place to get solar panels installed. I am in NW Missouri now camped by the Missouri River and heading west today. I think there was a place in Oregon...?. Suggestions?

Anne barely in MO

Sent from my iPad which has an erratic spellcheck, so bear with me.

You add the fact that you had attempted to level one side and there you go. I totally agree with Dave S that frame twisting is probably the issue. I had a customer with a 34ft slide out that could NOT close or open his door while hitched up. Of course, there was a lot more frame forward of the axles on that 34ft and the slide out makes it less stiff as well. I suspect that once you get the trailer unhitched and leveled, all will return to normal.

I did not unhook the trailer for this stop, had to use a couple of blocks to level the streetside and I kept the hitch weight bars attached as well (basically to be able to,leave quickly). Dave thinks the trailer is slightly twisted enough to affect the door closing.
