[A/S] Dometic Refrige

Well, we've come to the point where our refrigerator has gone ka-put. I know this has been discussed but I was hoping my laziness would pay off and someone woule enlighten me without going through the history.

Our Airstream is a 1995 Excella - I'm wondering if we should just replace the cooling unit or if a complete replacement is necessary. My husband can do either. If a replacement is necessary, any advice on where to purchase? We tried calling Dometic but the message would say, "only 28 callers ahead of you". etc.

We are looking to sell our unit but of course want everything in working order.
