Re: [A/S] A/C unit

> Hi Tony,

I posted photos of the board with the four switches. One switch is for the
fan, another is for running the fan and condensor or heat strip, then there
is a slide switch for the temp comtrol and the last switch is an on/off
switch. There are green lights on the board to show which function is
selected. I have done the circuit braker on and off and on again., I have
sprayed the electrical connections with an electronic spray to clean as
well as the connector on the ribbon strip ( both ends). I have power to
the board with the two wires (red and black). No lights will come on when
I turn the A/C on and that's why I feel it is this board that is faulty. I
have gone to Bob's RV salvage in High Springs and they did not have this
switch. The airstream parts department in Alachua says they no longer make
this switch and there is a kit to change the unit over to a wall Thermostat
for $300+. Unfortunately, I do not have the part number for the board, but
I now have the model number and serial number of the unit. I guess I need
to take it in for diagnosis, because I do not want to spend $300+ and then
find out it is not the board that is the problem. I will try calling PPL
and Dometic to see if I can get any further information. Thanks for
replying.

Let me know if you have any ideas or suggestions. Thanks

Chris
