are there any vintage people on the list in Dade City, FL. area? A very handy buddy of mine is interested in a '74 Argosy 26, needs new rear bath floor, and a new A/C unit. but he's never worked on an RV. Was wondering if anyone might have the time to at least look at the pics and give there opinion, or check the unit out if he buys it. I'm sure he'll join WBCCI and start attending local rally's at first. For instance, the a/c needs to be replaced. But when my '77 had it's replaced I remember the dealer having to reenforce the opening with wood bracing? and install a drip pan? not a simple retrofit. Also been told to "properly" replace the bathroom floor the frame has to be separated from the body. in order to get the new plywood in the channels between the two? Seems like there might be a slightly less "perfect" way to do it but still might be sturdy and serviceable.?
Thanks,
Dan
