Strictly speaking he meant the wrap protectors.
They fit below the windows and protect the alumunum segment behind them.
Wrap protectors are made of stainless steel. They are much more
resistant to road debris. For many recent years Airstream has included
them on most trailers. In the last few years they redesigned them to fit
higher and thus protect more of the aluminum segment behind them. If you
look into getting a set of them you must be very specific about what
model, year and serial number you want them to fit. There are over a
half dozen different styles
Airstream calls the metal framed smoked plastic three piece covers for
the front window stone guards or rock guards.
