I leased to RV transport Inc. for over 10 years. You can find out the
requirements at this link
http://www.rvtransport.com/.
It has been a couple years since I have worked for them but they were
good people to deal with.
Every company and their requirements will differ some but the info in
the posts on Hoosier is pretty close.
You may not need commercial experience, I had none, but you will need
a DOT medical card, A DOT inspection on your truck and you will have to
keep a log book like the big trucks. You will not need a CDL unless
your GCW exceeds 26000 pounds. You most likely will need your driving
record from the state you are licensed in. Insurance requirements vary
by company.
You will not get to keep much money unless you master the art of living
in a truck.
I think most of the info you need is on the web site. If the personel
people have not changed you need to talk to Lisa or Martha at 800 575
3386. They may even remember me, or maybe not.
