Re: [A/S] Door repair

This is a simple fix, but it causes most people to cringe at the thought. If the bottom of the door needs to go inward, you place a 2X4 piece at the top and middle outside edges (i.e. side opposite the hinges) of the door such that they are sandwiched between the door and the door frame. Then while holding the door against the wooden blocks, you push on the bottom of the door to force an inward deflection. It is trial and error. If you needed to adjust the bottom outward, place the 2X4 piece at the bottom only and then push on the middle edge of the door. You should get the idea of how this works. It is not uncommon for Airstream doors to need adjusting over time. This obviously requires more than one person in most cases as someone needs to hold the door against the wooden blocks while the other pushes on the door at the appropriate location.
