These prices don't seem too far out of line (labor is a little high) but there seems to be a couple of things missing. Make sure that they install a catastrophic fuse (about 300 Amps) should cost about $70. Battery cables should be 00 gauge wire with properly crimped on ring terminals. An MPPT charge controller shouldn't cost more then about $225.
I prefer a true sine wave inverter (they are about twice as expensive but 97% efficient) and some also do double duty as a multistage battery charger. Use the inverter sparingly but 3 minutes in a microwave is a lot of cooking. Or 5 minutes with a real vacuum cleaner is worth an hour with one of the rechargeable toys.
Your freezer uses 6 Amps so multiply that by the number of hours per day it will run. A 10 hour night would be 60 AH or about ⅔ the capacity of one battery. If you need more then 4 batteries switch to fewer larger batteries. I currently have just 2 but they are 258 AH each.
I think you are on the right track and you can do this a little at a time…… start with 2 solar panels and 2 batteries and add more as needed in the future.
