Tom,

The 60 amp unit should be more than adequate.

The only benefit of a higher rated charger is capacity to support heavier 12
volt electrical drains, and the ability to recharge a low battery faster.

Thus, if you boondock a lot and, typically, run your batteries down (and
also have a multiple battery bank) , then you might want a higher capacity
converter. Remember, you can only recharge a lead / acid battery so fast
(without overheating it) so having a higher power converter doesn't buy you
much (unless you have multiple batteries to recharge simultaneously).

Unlike the old Univolts, the Intellisync converter is very quiet. The
cooling fan is operated (turned on) automatically (only if there is a heavy
load). Even then, it is relatively quiet.
