Hello,
I wanted to fix a leak in my main water inlet pipe (74' rear bath) and bought a
1/2" "shark bite" coupling thinking it was worth the $11 considering the tight
space it was in and the "professional" RV Repaired solder glob didn't hold up.
Cut out approx 4" section, went to slip in the sharkbite and lo-and-behold the
1/2" copper tubing is slightly lager than 1/2". I'm no plumber, (which is why I
like the sharkbite products) but what am I missing? I's not 1/2", it's not 5/8",
what is it?
Jamie
