I think the Yamaha's are quite comparable with Honda. Note that it
does not cost much to convert a Honda
to run on propane, I have a Honda EV4010 and it cost about $200 if I
remember correctly. I notice that Yamaha
fails to mention (they never do it seems) the derating of engine power
and generator output by about 15% when
you switch to propane. This gets significant at high altitude when you
lose another 15% or so.
