[tabtrailers] Re: Pneumatic Jockey Wheel ...

Hi Amy, We had our JW dragging on our uphill concrete driveway (even with it correctly bungeed up in place), the slope was just too steep. So we replaced it with 2 Fulton Jacks (One on each side). This does not give us a pneumatic wheel for maneuvering single handed, but it solves the problem of hitting the ground on a slope (since they swing up to the side) and we never have to worry about the JW falling off on set-up. Actually, one Fulton Jack would support the T@B, but 2 gives us symmetry and extra backup. Its easy to level front to back as we just crank the handle. cindy

Not only have I bent the rim, but I have worn it down substantially while trying to position Tawanda up and down sloped driveways. Think I'll go to Walmart and get some new wheels! As for the rim, I'll just live with it for now.
