Well I have found the battery or batteries for my needs. Two Trojan # 105, 6v, 225 amp/hr deep cycle batteries are connected in series to make 12v. Plenty of power to go primitive.
Been in use for 3 yrs now. Will easily do a week end using XM radio, Northern Breeze, all the amenities.
Just check the water in them once in a while.
