Fred, I remember some very cold winters in Idaho, but winterizing the T@B is fairly easy. Get some RV antifreeze (WalMart or a local dealer will have it). Empty the water and put some of the RV antifreeze in. Run the pump so that it goes through the system and contacts all surfaces in the system. You only need maybe a quart or so to do this. It will prevent freezing and mildew. Remoe any foodstuffs, especially those that might freeze and burst the containers. Open the cabinet doors, leave the fridge door cracked open, and use something like Damp Rid (a dessicant) to absorb any moisture in the air. If you can cover it or have it under a roof, that is even better.
Make sure the battery is removed and left inside where it won't discharge and freeze. If you can leave it in a garage with a float charger, it won't freeze even in the coldest temps I remember up there. A small float charger to maintain the battery at about 13.2V is inexpensive.
That's about it. Some people put "Bounce" dryer sheets in places where any to rodents might find entry.
There are a couple of files in the AA_TAB101 folder that explains the process for winterizing and breaking out in the Spring. Seasoning your T@B.pdf and
I recommend checking out the files in the first two folders in the Files section, and others that you might find intersting.
