Most of the 'made to fit' covers are made of breathable material. When I put my cover on, I close up the windows and overhead vent and put a small container of Damp Rid in the sink. I'm in Maryland, so you and I will get most of the same weather. I change out the Damp Rid once or twice as it needs to be changed.
