Debbie, that is what the surge protector does--it is to protect your trailer from surges and sags--voltages out of limits. It "doesn't care" what the source of the 120VAC is. Short answer--as long as the nominal source at the power is 120VAC, it will do the job.

I just recently bought a 30A surge protector at Camping World. Can a surge protector be used when you are plugged into a 120 outlet either at home or at a storage facility?DebbieT@B #3372

Sure--you will need an inexpensive adapter, which you can get at Lowe's or Menards. Look in the *Electrical photo album for an example "Shore power adapter "--bottom of first page. The cable you have for the T@B has a 30A plug on it, but you don't need that much current for the T@B.Jerry J----- Original Message -----From: chucktown110Sent: Saturday, November 27, 2010 7:19 PMSubject: [tabtrailers] 120 powerCan I plug my T@B in at home?
