[tabtrailers] Re: 2010 T@B Bathroom Model TBTST

Debbie,

Go to Files, AA_Basic_T@B101, then scroll down to Jockey_Wheel-Basics.pdf or http://f1.grp.yahoofs.com/v1/UCrPTN1_yAaG6k4cyxzY_8uHV2l8X4PJjjQevXRozaRyThxih3h2DGRN9I-DTo-ioba-TQZYgqHDMmfzQ1xJcVmf3Cf_r4jlcKH9ZDO1VOVDR_2OH6z84-Kb/AA_Basic_T%40B101/Jockey_Wheel_Basics.pdf

There you will find a description with photos of how a T@B Jockey Wheel should be used, it does not 'fold back' like other trailers. It cranks up and down and can be adjusted up and down using the handle on the side of the hitch.
Be very careful not to raise it to far with the crank as it can come unthreaded and damage the assembly (like mine currently is from the previous owner.
I had to come up with my own variation due to the slope of my driveway to level the T@B.
Let us all know if you have further questions.

However, all the ones I have found are written for the coupler that has the jockey wheel that folds back. Mine is not that type. The jockey wheel is permantely attached, but does not have a section that bends to a 90 degree angle towards the propane/battery holding compartment. I don't think the checklist mentions about when to unlock the jockey wheel and when to lock it.

When I raise the coupler and then crank down to the hitch ball, do I then raise the coupler up to the highest level, and does this raise the jockey wheel, and when do I disengage the handle that locks the wheel in place (lots of 'ands' in that sentence!)?

I don't want to break something before I even get to take it out. I bought it used and the prior owner is on his way to the Bahamas or I would ask him these dumb questions.
