Just make sure it doesn't get too hot, or that you let it get completely dead. Mine lasted about 3 years, it would have lasted longer if I'd taken better care of it. I sure was glad to have it, I should buy another.

You might want to keep it anyway. It is a really good tool to have around for its intended uses. I bought one for myself and one each for my two sons and my son in law for Christmas. It will jump start your car, inflate a low tire, provide accessory AC and DC power for an emergency and provide emergency lighting. Just keep it in your trunk or back seat and you will find that it is going to come in handy when you least expect it.
