As a fellow clamshell owner, I’m very familiar with this problem…we had mold and even mushrooms in the front cabinet and battery compartment due to moisture.  Using the forum (thanks everyone!) we discovered that some Clamshell models did not have the proper flashing installed where the front meets the floor.  We went to a local dealer to have it fixed last fall…and they did find this to be the case for our T@B.  We haven’t had it out of storage yet, so I cannot vouch for how effective the repair has been.  Good luck.  Kathy Alexander
