[tabtrailers] Re: Break Away Cable

Terry & Jerry...

My plan is to drive to my cousin Rob's tomorrow and he will install a newly fabricated break-away cable. I will take pictures of the cable before, during and after installation and put them in the Owner Modifications folder.

The forecast is for thunderstorms tomorrow, so we might postpone the installation. In any case, when completed, I'll announce it to the Forum for those interested.

I hope she will send me a photo of the end result--or perhaps better yet post it on the forum--which will make it easier for me to describe what we have been discussing. They may have found something that works better than what I was describing. If you don't get the information by mid-week, remind me.

Consequently, when I moved the car, it destroyed the cable. The hooks at both ends were bent, twisted and pulled apart with absolutely no way to fix them.
