Kevin,
Smart idea! I am in constant 'check mode' whenever the T@B & truck are connected. As my T@B ages (40,000+ miles) I have added a 'hub heat check' to the mix whenever I stop and especially when driving through hills or mountains. I just feel the hubs for heat whenever we stop in those conditions. What I'm hoping I never find is a really hot hub which may indicate a bearing failure or excessively hot brake.
What'll I do if I do find a burning hot hub? I hope I never find out!

So now I have gotten into a habit after every stop, I check the connections/lights, check handbrake, door, and kick the tires. Just to be sure :-) gettin there SAFELY is half the fun
