Are you sure that your trailer has OSB? We also have a 2005 - although it a Classic 30. Just last week, I was messing around installing a replacement water pump which is located under a storage bin in the closet. When I was in there, I noticed that the exposed flooring material that I could see where there was no sheet vinyl floor covering, appeared to be plywood, maybe 5/8" thick or so.

I knew that some Airstreams had OSB, but I always thought that was many years earler.

I pet peeve of mine with Airstream is why the heck would they not use some sort of composite man-made material that is impervious to water for the frame. Surely they know that even though a trailer (might !) leave the factory with no leaks, eventually there will be leaks and the water almost inevitably finds its way to the floor.

Seems to me they could use some sort of honey comb core non wood laminated panels, or perhaps some of the newer recycled wood replacement products.

There is at least one manufacturer (Earthbound Trailers) and probably more, that are now using non-wooden flooring. If buy another trailer after our current AS, I will certainly take a close look at these other units.

For what they charge, shame on AS for not addressing this shortcoming IMHO !
