[A/S] Sold & Bought

Hey Hunter,

Here's the latest big Airstream news from us... We sold, to a couple from Illinois, our beloved fulltiming Airstream - the 34 ft, Lounge Slide-out. And now we are the very happy owners of a 2007 25 ft LS Safari FB (front bedroom) SE. We picked it up from folks in Jefferson City, MO who were headed for Denver, CO to buy their next beloved. Oh, and the Illinois people sold their Airstream to someone in Colorado. And so the swapping goes on, doesn't it, all over the continent!

The amount of storage amazed us. Of course, for one thing we don't need to bring 4 seasons of clothes with us any longer. LOL Naturally we LOVE being able to look out the huge 'rear' windows instead of at the 'rear' of our truck.

We sold the Hensley hitch along with our old trailer. We had no problems back in the early days with our long 31 ft and a simple Reese hitch. Enroute from Missouri to Michigan we checked out places to get a hitch. (We were using borrowed daughter's Reese hitch.) We ended up in Elkhart, IN having a Blue Ox put on because of 'what a deal!' It was just a little more than ordinary Reese.

We are in Michigan for h.s. graduation for two grandkids on June 2. The weather is dismal. Our family told us that for every 2 weeks of rain there has been just 1 day of sun. Oh, we can't wait to return to hot Hillsboro, TX!

We're watching everyone's status as y'all head for Alumapalooza.
