Re: [tabtrailers] Re: Elec problems

T&P, I have had so many things going, forum-related and others, that I forgot one (at least) detail. If the battery ground cable is removed and the interior lights work when connected to shore power only, then the battery and/or the little red covered circuit breaker in the positive lead is/are most likely the only problem(s). If the lights don't work, and the fuses and circuit breakers are all OK, then it is very likely a converter problem, especially if you have the older American brand converter which doesn't have the reverse polarity protection. Please let us know when you find out.

Good luck

Sorry I haven't posted sooner on the electrical problem. Came home from our trip, worked 2 days, then out of town for a graduation and Mothers Day. no time to really think about it yet. The battery reversal didn't solve the issue, battery could have been ruined by that, so will take the battery in to be tested this week. Hope to have time to deal with the whole thing this weekend. It has to go into the RV shop that winterized it to have the water pump checked out, but need to get the electrical problem solved first. Fortunately, we aren't planning to use it soon. I will update you all when we get to the bottom of all this. Thanks again for the attempts to help.
