When we announced to the forum, in 2004, that we were copying Bob Tennison's great idea of using slats for the bed instead of using that heavy table were also so impressed with how much more ROOM this gave us!! I, being short, could just walk around and enjoy it greatly, but Gordie (6ft+) was also most impressed with the ease of actually getting to the couch with less trouble. Thanks to BOB TENNISON 2004 veteran for showing the way to better TABBING! :) This idea caught on and alot of folks have used various means of wood to support the bed. We stored our 3 wide slats under one dinette seat. Terry

Yet, when I look back on it, performing the vast improvement was a piece of cake. Thanks, of course, to the excellent help from the files of this forum. What a marvelous resource!
