Or why not just have the whole thing spray painted a soft pearl gray or any color of your choice then be done with it. No more polishing or maintanace of any kind just a occasional wash now and then.. Cheers Dominick

Just keep in mind, once the clear coat is off, you will have to go on
polishing forever, at least once a year, and that stripping the
clearcoat isn't much fun either.
