[A/S] Battery Charging

Hello All,

I have a Magnetek converter / charger 50Amp series 900 model 950P in my 1996 25ft Excella. It is not a multi-stage charger, but will not over charge my batteries per the manual and my past experience.

Question; When boondocking, what is the most efficient way to recharge my batteries (excluding solar).

I have a Honda generator EX1000 that I have been using by plugging in the trailer's power cord, but it take a very long time to get the batteries back up to 90%.

Have any of you ever purchaced a smart battery charger and used a generator to go directly to the coach batteries? I think this my be a faster recharge, but not sure.
