50amps is plenty for a battery bank up to 500amp-hours capacity, anything
larger will only charge your batteries up a very few minutes faster, the
rough rule of thumb is a charger about 10% of the capacity of
your battery bank is optimum and most converters exceed that to have the
capacity to run other stuff.
