[A/S] China Tires! & NICE TPMS system find.....

I ordered 4 tires from Discount Tire Direct (so I could get the nationwide warranty) with the explicit instructions that I did not want ANY tires made in China due to all the bad reviews I have read here & elsewhere & I wanted 8-ply tires. Low & behold 4-China made tires with 6-ply stamped on the side arrived yesterday.
When I called them for a return authorization they told me most tires now are made in China & they were made to their strict DOT standards & they had not had any problems so far. I have now emailed Goodyear direct to see if there is somewhere I can get US made tires.
Any ideas?

BTW I have found an EXCELLENT place to order a TPMS system. I got a dual extended antenna, 8-tire, LED monitor system for $309 shipped!!
I tested it when it arrived & only need to use 1 of the antennas.
Seems to be a VERY nice system!
If you want a 8-tire or more system you just ask them & they will put one up on Ebay for you to buy. Very nice people to deal with.
