For the benefit of those who do not know the specifics of Black's Beach, the
following may be useful:
Black's is a beautiful Pacific coast beach just north of San Diego and below
a cliff which is a hang glider port.
San Diego is the "land of the short thermometer" The temperature is mild
all year.
Black's is best known for its "clothing optional status" aka a nude beach
(which is not as threatening as it might sound). Thus you can really pack
light. Though a good pair of hiking shoes would be an asset for navigating
the relatively steep trail from the cliff to the beach below. Being part
Billy goat would also help!
