I have seen ads on both Airforums and Ebay for Airstream Curtains
Ours were beyond repair, however my wife is great at sewing so
we ended up making them.
Couple tips, we salvaged many of the hangers, bought a few new ones.
After a couple years of use all the salvage ones started failing,
so replaced all 200 or so with new ones. The tight curtains makes a huge difference in insulating the interior.
Washing curtains..
Do not wash fiberglass curtains in your washing machine!!!
Funny story..I used to travel on the road and would often take a
engineer with me on calls..this one day I picked him up, and all the
way to the customer he was squirming all over the seat..at the meeting
he was up and down and looking very unhappy. Finally he could not take it anymore and ran to the bathroom!!! Guess we all thought he was caught short..
Several minutes later he comes back with a pair of underware..said he
had turned bright red on his lower parts..
Later turned out the underware was washed right after his wife did the fiberglass curtains!!!!!
BEWARE ha ha
