Wash curtains on gentle cycle of washing machine, in cold water, using Woolite. DO NOT put curtains in dryer. Hang on coat hangers using clothes pins and let air dry. My '89 trailer has the original curtains. I have washed them a few times using this method.

Subject: [A/S] Curtain Question
Looks like my house may be sold...finally, so I am wide open on putting my
trailer back together and getting it ready to move/live in a few weeks from
now. I will probably be asking quite a few questions over the next few
weeks and would be grateful for any help/suggestions.
The curtains in my trailer have water stains from condensation/humidity
from the trailer sitting up for so long. Does anybody know of a way to get
them out? I thought about one of those oxyclean products, but I have never
used those. A second option I thought about was dyeing them a darker color.
The trailer is a '72 and I,ve had it for 12 years. I don't know how old the
curtains are but I know they are at least 12 years old. I'm afraid they
might fall apart completely if I try to wash them at all.
Any ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Steve L
