Hi Steve,
I've had fairly good luck with hand washing trailer curtains in the bathtub with Woolite or some similar very mild soap. I lay the curtain (one panel at a time) in the tub with several inches of luke warm water and a little soap and push the fabric down and lift it up several times. Also let it soak a few minutes. Then drain the water and rinse at least twice. Do not ring but press the water out and blot with a towel then hang over the shower rod or some other place where they can drip dry. If you think they can take it fluffing the dry curtains in a dry on air for a few minutes might help. It's a lot of work but they sure look much nicer and fresher.
