Thanks - will pull it apart after the holiday - the lock type is shown in an album called "1973 21' GlobeTrotter/Land Yacht" as I can't see how to put pics in emails...a cosmetic issue is that the front is broken (chipped) and the whole thing is painted as the finish (chrome?) was pitted I suspect.
