Re: [A/S] Looking for lock

Steve - Every good locksmith I've ever dealt with has boxes full of old lock parts. Give them a try also. Can't hurt.

I always take life with a grain of salt . . . . plus a slice of lime & several shots of a very good chilled tequil.

Need a new  / very good second hand lock for my 1973 21' LandYacht / Globetrotter . see pic.. Any ideas please? Steve

And Tony has some good advise too - "Save the lock, they are not available but sometimes they can be repaired.  I would carefully take it out and see what has failed.  Usually it's the bolt assembly.  I've heard of them being welded back together.  Some dealers have come up with a kit to replace it with a newer version."
