Hi, Hunter, You do make some good strong valid points here. I happen to know many happy Airstream owners this one couple who has a 73 tradewinds they bought new, And it is still going strong. But having said that they have also put a lot of constant maintenance in their trailer over the years to keep it road worthy and functional as well. cheers Dominick

They are pricey, but I'm not so sure they're over priced..... arguably
they are the Rolls Royce of travel trailers...... having been in many of
the SOBs I can attest that Airstream has much higher quality carpeting,
upholstery, cabinetry......
People thought I was nuts to pay what I did for mine, but its still
worth about what I paid for it and the best is I'll never have to buy
another trailer.... this one will outlive me. Good for me, bad for
Airstream because I'll never buy a new one.
As for their weight...... that's what big assed trucks are for <g> My
truck can pull anything Airstream makes.

The beauty of that is, you can buy a Beatrice years trailer and get the
lightweight and the light interior......
