Screech and Barred Owls, kestrels, Redtail Hawks, Cooper's hawks, etc. are all urban residents although you might not see them easily. They can see disabled prey, however. I know you'll be careful so just ignore me.

The Great Horned Owl I spoke of was in the town of Leesburg, VA in someone's back yard where they had a shed....
