If this is a vinyl layer on the aluminum, you will need to get it very
clean for paint to stick to it. I would try Hunter's suggestion of the
Kilz first and then paint on a section of the wall and see what it comes
out like. It may work OK, but getting stuff to stick to that vinyl,
especially if it has any age to it might be tricky.
