[A/S] PEK Water lines

The wife and I traded our 28 foot for a 1996 34 foot Airstream. We wanted extra space and we did get it.

I was looking at the water pump and noticed that the plumbing is PVC and not the PEK tubing that I had in my other Airstream. I looked under the sink and found the PVC plumbing too.

Has Airstream ever used PVC? Should I replace it with the PEK type plumbing?
