[A/S] Solar

Hi Guys,

While visiting our son in Tennessee last week, I had an "up close and
personal" discussion with him about the 15 solar panels (Solarworld
240 watt Sunmodules) installed on his house. Each panel has its own
inverter (Enphase M-215 microinverters) and the entire array has a 25
year warranty.

Solar production can be viewed on his computer - minute by minute -
24/7/365 in terms of what he's using and what is being fed back to
the power company. It's a 3.6 KW Solar Array (Sundog Solar) made by
Solarworld-usa.com.

This is a far cry from our two panel 50 year old solar system on our
1967 22' Safari bought from Atlantic Oil Company (no longer in
business) after they had used them them for 30 years.

It's also light years ahead of the four panel solar system on our
1989 32' Excella bought new from AJ Solar years ago and installed by
AJ during the Florida State Rally in Sarasota, Florida.

Kids - they always have to out-do their parents. That's one of the
joys of being a Father. If I was just starting out again as a Father
and knew there would a solar convention nearby, I'd attend it and
we'd take our kids with us. If this is of interest to anyone on the
Airstream List, here's where and when a solar convention will be
occurring:

Enough said,

Terry
