Re: [A/S] Fresh water Tank Leak

Anne,
I had forgotten about your rig suffering a frozen "something" recently. You really should run the test I documented with the full fresh water tank while being hooked up to city water. If ice crystals formed in the water pump they act like little knives, piercing the rubber diaphragm. While these tiny penetrations will not prevent the pump from working, they will prevent it from holding pressure and will allow city water to back up into the fresh water tank (ie the damage alone would cause the pump to cycle). The pump cycling could have NOTHING to do with leak. If the pump is leaking internally, you can't use the cycling as an indication of leaks elsewhere.

Sorry to hear about the closing settlement being delayed. Why things such as that can't be verified well before closing always amazes me.

I haven't addressed the water leak yet because after working 12 hrs today clearing out my home I got an email that settlement has been....delayed. I will read over everything again after I've had some sleep and can think a bit straighter. I did have a pump or water line freeze up for a day or so in Texas while at a campground and with the furnace going full blast, but it worked the rest of the way home and supposedly it checked out ok at the local RV place where I had a lot of work done this winter. The trailer is at a slight angle because of my hillside driveway (even with the downhill side on blocks, so the water heater is on the uphill side away from the leak.
