Re: [A/S] Airstream bike rack

Hi Dave,

I have a mini Dremmel but I can't imagine it doing much other than smoothing some sharp edges. I looked at the bumper lid again today and it does extend on both sides a bit more than is necessary (probably for keeping stuff out of the compartment). I don't have a good idea of how much needs to be trimmed to make the bike rack work. I have only assembled the first "square" and the rest is in the box. I'm moving out of my house and going to settlement this next week so things are pretty chaotic. I don't know if I'll be able to get it attached before I become homeless, so if I have room, I will bring both rack parts and bike with me and hope I find someone out there who can install it for me. Maybe I can trade some professional videography for an install???? ( promise I won't let anyone turn their back to the camera and block the shot:-)

Thanks for your encouragement, and confidence in my questionable mechanical skills! This is one area where I am still looking for my sea legs.

Anne
