Hunter is correct about Atwood NOT recommending the installation of a Hot Rod. Now, LOTS of people have Hot Rods installed in their Atwood units, so it is your call. Again, you may have hell getting that petcock out. I might mention that in order to install the petcock, the PO installed a reducer into the tank and then screwed the petcock into the reducer. You can remove the reducer with the petcock still threaded in it, again assuming that you can get the reducer to break loose of the tank.
