I have a 1964 28 foot Airstream, it also had the old type split rim
wheels on it and I replaced them with modern ST225R75 radial trailer
tires on modern 15" rims as Colin describes. At the time I purchased the
new rims, it was before Vintage Trailer Supply carried rims and I went
to a local equipment trailer builder/dealer and purchased Dexter rims
with TrailMaster tires already mounted on the rims which they stocked
and use for the trailers of their own design and making. I have since
purchased a new set of axles from Colin which are now on the trailer and
can confirm Colin's information is good, you can trust what Colin
says... He knows more about these Vintage Airstreams than anyone...
