You can get that cleaner at any A/C shop. Just tell them what you want
it for and they'll get you what you need. It comes in spray cans the
size of a spray paint can. You spray it on and the dirt runs off and out
the condensate drain.
The condenser coil, that's the coil outside, you can probably clean with
a water hose. Just be aware that the high pressure water can bend the
cooling fins. So be very careful to have just a very light spray
pressure from almost a mist nozzle.. Test it with your hands first. Then
while you are cleaning, make sure that there are not too many bent
cooling fins on the coil outside. If there are, there are fin combs that
an A/C shop can run through the fins to straighten them in just a few
minutes. IF too many fins are bent, you are blocking the heat transfer
and cutting down on your cooling power.
The inside (evaporator) coil is the one that you will clean with the
spray cleaner. You can probably get to it by taking the inside grill
off, but you should grab a manual and see how to get to the evaporator coil.
You'll be surprised how dirty it probably is and how much better it
works when the fins are clean.
