When I met Roy, after we chatted for a while I looked at him intently
and said, "Don't you recognize me?" He got that worried "where do I
know her from look and I let him off the hook and said, "Madison Square
Garden... 1951, 1952, 1953........."

He looked at me, got it and burst out laughing...... as if he'd remember
this little kid some 50 years later :D

I loved making him laugh....
